Mom: So you mean, no apples?!
A: I mean you asked me to bring 5 pounds of oranges. That's a little ridiculous.

A: Seriously, do they not sell fruit here?
Mom: It's not organic. Okay, so did you bring walnuts and almonds?

If you haven’t seen Pixar’s latest film UP, go do it. I’ve always loved the stories Pixar tells, but this one is extra special because it features Pixar’s first Asian American lead. People have asked me how you know he’s Asian because Russell the Wilderness Explorer seems like a regular kid, no funny accents and no stereotyopes. It turns out that Russell is based off of the Korean American Pixar animator Peter Sohn, and his voice is done by the Japanese American new-coming Jordan Nagai. This article explains it all.

In any case, check out the trailer here. The incredible thing is that the kid is actually more adorable in the movie.
